Leather Care Guide
Your Doris's Bags leather bag was made to last a lifetime — but like all things made with love, it deserves a little care.
Daily Care
- Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can fade and dry the leather over time.
- Keep your bag away from rain and excess moisture. If it gets wet, pat it dry gently with a soft cloth and let it air dry naturally — never use a hair dryer or heat source.
- Avoid contact with sharp objects, rough surfaces, and harsh chemicals.
Cleaning
- Wipe the surface gently with a soft, dry cloth after each use.
- For light stains, use a slightly damp cloth and wipe gently in circular motions.
- Never use alcohol, bleach, or chemical cleaners on the leather.
Conditioning
- Apply a quality leather conditioner every 3 to 6 months to keep the leather soft, supple, and beautiful.
- Always test any product on a small hidden area first.
Storage
- When not in use, store your bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Stuff it lightly with tissue paper to help it maintain its shape.
- Store it in a dust bag or pillowcase to protect it from dust and scratches.
